Event Details

Experience Austin’s premier meat-centric, live-fire cooking event at the famous  Salt Lick Pecan Grove Pavilion in the Texas Hill Country with live music, premium wines, spirited cocktails, craft brews and chef mastery. A dynamic lineup of award-winning chefs are ready to battle the flames and raise funds for the Austin Food & Wine Alliance’s culinary grant program.

Texas Waygu Strip Loin Roast with wild ramp butter and tomato and bone marrow tartlets.

Grilled beef shanks tossed in roasted garlic and sherry vinegar sauce with bone marrow butter and Maker’s Mark® sauce. Served with smoked beef brisket, black eyed peas and collard greens.

Wine and spirit makers will be on hand to pour featured premium wines and spirits including Dulce Vida Organic Tequila (Mexico), Maker's Mark® (Kentucky), Cape Classics (South Africa), Chat Greysac (France), Robert Hall Winery (California), Frederick Wildan & Sons (France & Spain), Feudo Arancio (Italy), Angoves Family Winemakers (Australia), Dona Paula (Argentina), Terlato Wines International, Trinchero Family Estates (California), Becker Vineyards (Texas), Fall Creek Vineyards (Texas) and Llano Estacado (Texas).

New for this year, Live Fire! features three new cutting-edge local craft breweries, Jester King Craft Brewery, Twisted X Brewing Company and Hops & Grain, and also will offer classic Austin brews from stalwart Live Oak Brewing Company.

Local spirit favorites Savvy Vodka, Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka, Cypress Creek Reserve Rum, Paula's Texas Orange and Paula's Texas Lemon also will be offered, along with Austin¹s own Cuvée Coffee, Honest Tea and Texas own Crazy Water.


Music Provided By: 

Legendary fiddle player Elana James of Hot Club of Cowtown will play Western Swing tunes as The Elana James Trio for an evening of sizzling dancing and dining.
